More fantastic reviews for Cropod!

One year ago Intupod placed a mountain pod in the remote area of Glencolumbkille, County Donegal on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.The Times named the pod ‘Best Place in Ireland to Get Away from it All’ (June 2017).

The pod is owned by Dr Greg Stevenson who directs Under the Thatch, managing and providing holiday accommodation around Europe.

The pod has been getting amazing 5* reviews on Air BnB and is nearly fully booked until October. Here are a few of the reviews the pod has been receiving this year:

Clare, January 2018

“Excellent location, very remote and beautiful. The drive out there is a bit rough, particularly if you drive a smaller car, but take it slow and it’s well worth it. There is a surprising amount of space, the bed is super comfy and the surroundings are utterly gorgeous.”

“This place is a hidden gem if you really want to get away from it all. It’s amazing how the pod has been designed to suit this remote location and how it blends into the earth. We will return!”

Cormac, January 2018

“The pictures do not do it justice. Have to say it is a great place to stay away in. So peaceful and relaxing. The pod is very clean and the kitchen is more than expected. It doesn’t take long to heat up and it stays cosy for your whole time. The area is great with alot of sites nearby to go visit, all can be found online. I would recommend Bunglass point for great views and a good path to walk in. The directions to the pod are top notch and it is easy to find even though it is off the beaten track. I have been bombarded with messages on where i was staying and i have recommended the pod to everyone. Most defiantly top of my list!”

“Very hip place, with an amazing view, in a breathtaking location. Definitely a good choice if you’re looking to stay away from the world. Do recommend following the directions provided. And switch off your phones. You will enjoy it so much more.”

Caroline, February 2018

“Wonderful, unique property with views to die for. Even though the outside temperature was freezing (the lake actually started to freeze!) we were very cosy in the pod. ”

Zaiem, March 2018

“Very nice atmosphere, the place is warm.  The pod itself is well equipped. Comfy beds. Would definitely recommend.”

Amy, March 2018

“We had such a great stay at the pod, the place is designed and thought out so well and has everything you could need! The directions that were given to us were great as long as you do follow them. It is quite remote, down small roads but that is half the fun of it. We went to all the local nearby villages during the day but as it would have been difficult to get a taxi to and from the pod to the villages, we just cooked in each night and had drinks in. Overall it was a great trip, we only wished we could have stayed longer.”
